UniBears - Operator Number Option (via the web)

Operator Number

This option allows you to add or change an Operator Number which will allow callers to press 0 to connect to a human attendant such as departmental receptionist or message center when you are away.

After you set the operator target number, you may wish to include something like "You may press zero to connect to the department office" in a recorded greeting (UniBears telephone interface command 5 4 1). There is no system prompt to tell the caller to use 0 to connect to an attendant or message center.

Setting Your Operator Target Number

To configure your operator number, click Options on navigation bar to see available options.

Then click on Operator Number to go to the Operator Target Number page. Enter your attendant's telephone number. The UniBears system default is the campus telephone exchange operator who does not take messages. Click Save to save the TUI settings.

If you enter an off-campus number, you or your department will be charged for each redirected call.

Use the navigation bar to go to another page or to logout.
