Voicemail message sent to all subscribers

The CNS Voicemail Partition Manager is sending a voicemail message to every subscriber on the old, Digital Sound system between January 10 and 25, 2006. We are sending out 1,000 messages a day so as to not overload the old voicemail system.

The voicemail message reads:
January 27th will be your last day on this voicemail system. Communication and Network Services is installing a new voicemail system on January 28th. There may be sporadic downtime between 9AM and noon on Saturday January 28th while we move to the new system. When you come into the office on Monday, January 30th, you'll be on the new UniBears system. We've worked hard to retain some of the keys you're most familiar with: 1 to listen to voice messages, 2 to save and 3 to delete.

We ask that you configure your account on the new UniBears system before January 27th. If you have not already done so, please call 3-2929 from your office phone. The initialization passcode is UniBears (86423277). Please change your passcode immediately. For security reasons, we do not recommend that your passcode is the same as your phone number.

Messages, recorded names, recorded greetings and passwords on the old system WILL NOT migrate to the new system. I repeat: Messages, recorded names, recorded greetings and passwords on the old system WILL NOT migrate to the new system. After January 28th you will be able to access your messages on the old system until February 10th by calling 3-2525.
