2-28-2006: Three changes were made to UniBears on Sunday 2-26-2006

Groups:

Subscribers will hear confirmation of the group name when editing groups, when sending a message to a group and when forwarding messages to a group list.

Unified Messaging:

UniBears now supports CalMail secondary/departmental domains for Unified Messaging subscribers
Unified Messaging subscribers will hear almost no delay when listening to their high priority email messages

2-24-2006: Unified Messaging Rollout

We are excited to announce that, beginning March 1st, we will rollout our most advanced feature of the new voicemail system, Unified Messaging. Unified Messaging allows you to:

store your email and voicemail messages in your CalMail inbox
listen to your voice messages over the telephone
listen to your voice messages over the web through CalMail or BearMail using headsets or speakers
listen to voicemail messages in Eudora or AppleMail
listen to email messages over the telephone

If you have Voicemail Enhanced, you may want to compare its features with Unified Messaging by attending our Unified Messaging class which is now posted on ICE. The price of Unified Messaging is the same as our Enhanced Voicemail service.

1-29-2006: Voicemail Cutover

The cutover of the entire campus telephone exchange to the new voicemail system, UniBears, was done on January 28, 2006. Voicemail customers may continue to check old voicemail until February 10, 2006.
